in 1982 Howard
Associates is a telecommunications/computer consulting endeavor. We’ve advised
and trained in environments that range from “Fortune 100” to Government to
small business. Spent several years presenting Networking seminars (2 and 3 day)
on the "Holiday Inn" circuit. I’m
active in the Maine Science and Technology foundation and a director of The
Maine Technology Institute (Technology Board). Boston
University, Adjunct Instructor 1982 to
present Computer
Science Department. Teach a 101 course of my own design that has become the
"standard". Graduate courses include one devoted to international,
Fullbright Fellows. As an interesting diversion, taught one course per year at a
Massachusetts' State Prison (1985-1994). In recent years all courses feature and
emphasize Internet applications. St.
Joseph's College, Standish, Maine 1995 to
present Teach two
computer science courses per semester. Recent offerings have included Systems
Programming (CS405), Management Information Systems (CS301) and an Intro course
(CS103). York County Technical College, Wells, Maine 1996 to 2000 Taught the "high end" networking course
ATT, Morristown, NJ Consultant Liaison Manager 1982 Successfully
educated, advised and "romanced" the consultant community as ATT
entered the competitive marketplace. NYNEX
(NET), Staff Manager-Training 1966 to
1981 Assignments
include four years in the training arena and a variety of sales/marketing
positions. EDUCATION Boston
University, BLS 1981 Interdisciplinary,
liberal arts degree. ADCOM,
AT&T, Cooperstown, NY 1971 An
intensive, technical MBA program underwritten by AT&T. INTERESTS Tennis,
trap/skeet, forestry, old Porsches and digital photography. Included in
several “Who’s Who's” including Marquis’ “Who’s Who in America” and
“Who’s Who in Science and Technology”. |
